Parent Tutoring Agreement

  1. Children complete any set homework.
  2. Parents collect children 5 minutes before the end of the session, so children can share learning, celebrate success and communicate homework. This also ensures sessions start and finish on time.
  3. Children have at least one session for every 2 weeks of school holiday. These will be off term timetable so will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
  4. A minimum of 48 hour’s notice is required for cancellations. Where possible an alternative time may be offered but this cannot be guaranteed.
  5. All cancelled sessions must be made up during holiday times. If more than one session is missed per half term, the place will be reallocated as your child’s progress cannot be guaranteed.
  6. Sessions to be pre-paid in half-termly blocks including payment for agreed holiday sessions (see above).
  7. Notes for sessions will be written up by the tutor during independent tasks or within 24 hours of session.
  8. If the tutor cancels a session, then an alternative session will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
  9. Children, once on track, are paired and grouped with other children who are working at a similar pace.
  10. All sessions are booked and paid through Dulwich tutor.
  11. Recommendations for the tutor are made via through Dulwich Tutor.
